Paralegal schools in Oklahoma teach students the skills and knowledge of working in a variety of legal settings. Most paralegal schools in Oklahoma offer two-year associate’s degrees while a minority offers certificates and bachelor’s. Paralegals have a wide range of responsibilities including legal research, interviewing clients, billing, office management, preparing for trials, briefing attorneys, and managing the office. Paralegals conduct much of the work of attorneys, except for setting fees, giving legal advice, and presenting cases in court. Nevertheless, paralegals are an integral part of any legal department or team.
