Paralegal schools in Nebraska are becoming increasingly popular because of the rising demand for paralegals across all areas of law. Approximately 70% of paralegals work in private legal firms while the reaming third work for corporations and government. Paralegals perform much of the same work as attorneys but are not permitted to set legal fees, give legal advice, or present cases in court. The majority of paralegals and legal assistants are female but an increasing number of males are entering the field. Most paralegal schools in Nebraska offer two year associate’s degrees that can be completed within two years if the student is enrolled full-time.
