Students who want to enroll at legal studies schools in Ontario can choose from over two dozen campuses. Diploma courses are offered for paralegals, law clerks, and legal administrative assistants. These courses are designed to be completed relatively quickly and they focus on practical skills that will be regularly called into action on the job. Classes include various aspects of law, plus legal terminology, law office procedures, ethics, office technology, Canadian court systems, legal writing, and legal research methods. Business skills, such as English, typing, and accounting, are also included. Upon graduating, students will be ready to start their new careers.
