Law in Massachusetts

Law schools in Massachusetts prepare students with the necessary classes and curriculum to take the Bar Association exam and successfully achieve licensing as a Massachusetts attorney. Programs in the law field typically lead to a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. The programs are postgraduate and usually take three years to complete. A bachelor’s degree is required for acceptance and admissions into a JD program. While a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is required for entry into a Massachusetts law school, the type of bachelor’s degree is not specific. Students are able to study in any undergraduate program from art history to English or mathematics.
