It will include the knowledge and skills necessary in those various professions, and will allow those who are already working in their career to advance their current position in their profession, or allow them to move to another area of public safety. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ASSOCIATE DEGREE 116 Credit Hours: Length: 18 months BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.S.) DEGREEA Bachelor of Science in Justice and Public Safety Administration will teach students to manage and lead organizations which are related to the areas of law enforcement, homeland security, and emergency management. Effective leaders will increasingly be needed to meet new challenges as the population expands and Homeland Security and safety remain a concern. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELOR DEGREE 180 Credit Hours: Length: 18 months behond the associate degree in the day division, or longer if the student holds part time status or coures are taken in the evening. Students will also have needed to have completed the Associate Degree in Justice and Public Safety Administration program from Sullivan University, or an equivalent program.
