Homeland Security in Tennessee

Homeland security schools in Tennessee prepare students for one of many rewarding careers in homeland defense and security. Most homeland security positions are within local, state and federal government. Homeland security training courses teach students how to prepare for, respond, and avoid disaster situations caused by nature, accidents and intentional acts of violence. Most homeland security programs are offered at the bachelor’s degree level requiring the student to attend school for at least four years. The first two years are spent taking general education courses. Once accepted to the major students will take courses such as emergency preparation and response, terrorism, homeland security policies and procedures, intelligence analysis and risk assessment.
