The secrets to our successful educational programs include experienced teachers; state of the art facilities and equipment; comprehensive hands-on training; career services and professional guidance and preparation seminars; and a supportive classroom environment that facilitates optimal learning.

The theory and practical application that students will acquire in the Criminal Justice field, serves as preparation for entry-level careers in police, courts, security and corrections. The course work will teach students how to interpret crime statistics, write criminal justice reports, interpret criminal evidence, and work in the criminal justice system.

The requirement for qualified graduates to take up entry level positions in security, law enforcement and corrections is bound to keep rising, as determined by the U.S. government. According to the U.S. Department of Labor\'s Occupation Outlook Handbook, the applicants with specific training will have the best opportunities. If the people are more conscious of security and feel concerned about crime and safety, then such an attitude would lead to a demand for criminal justice services.

The courses in the Criminal Justice program will familiarize the students with the appropriate skills in a wide range of criminal justice and security topics. For example: gun control, theft of identity, rights of victims, definitions of criminal law, crimes committed in the corporate world, criminal procedures, report writing. Students study Aviation Security, Forensic Science and Criminology, Crime Scene Investigation and terrorism.

Students will be taught vital skills for the criminal court systems, like court procedures for prosecution, defense and preparation of criminal cases from arrest to pleading, motion practices and discovery to sentencing, as well as appeal and expungement.
