Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies

Students in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies program obtain a basic understanding and knowledge of the U.S. legal system and develop the legal research skills required to prepare effective legal documents and court briefs. Students enrolled in the program learn how to perform legal research, create legal documents, prepare pleadings, prepare document summaries, organize trial notes and complete efficient client interviews.
