Bachelor of Science in Criminal JusticeBy following the Criminal Justice program students are prepared for careers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in the fields of enforcement of law, security management, and public and private investigation. This program contains criminal justice instruction as well as business administration and behavioral science content. During their senior year, students will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice by participating in professional internships. Providing students with practical experience, these may be taken with a local, state, federal, or private agency to complete their academic studies. Criminal Justice Graduates of Post University have the educational background and training to understand the process of criminal justice, juvenile justice system and the legal framework within the justice system, as well as ethical considerations and professionalism necessary for a career in criminal justice. Students can expect to study topics such as law enforcement, criminal procedure, juvenile justice and security among others. This aids them in reaching their goals by teaching them skills needed for law enforcement, security, justice and corrections administration professions.
