During your training in this field, you’ll learn the core concepts of criminal justice education, including criminal behavior, ethics, leadership, society and the law, criminal investigations, psychology, police, and the U.S. court system. These and other topics are covered in an associate’s degree program. A bachelor’s degree will include other subjects, such as forensic psychology, American criminal justice, and criminology. These degrees can also be specialized for a given field, such as homeland security, corrections, or security management.
