Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice allows students to develop an in-depth knowledge of criminal activity, social policy, criminal court procedures, policing and corrections as they relate to crime control as well as gaining a general knowledge of the methods and theories of social science.
Students are introduced to critical thinking, computer applications, and quantitative analysis in relation to criminal study in the degree in criminal justice specialization core courses, electives, and related courses.
Master of Criminal Justice
Those seeking a career in criminal justice, administration or research in this field should consider The Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ) program. Students are prepared to enter specialized law enforcement units, government, and management once they have completed the Master in Criminal Justice.
The criminal justice master program integrates a liberal arts foundation with a concentration of disciplines related to the criminal justice fields. Candidates for degrees will learn research skills and must take core classes on the evolution, philosophy, politics and social implications of the American criminal justice system.
